Laser Hair Removal

Traditional hair removal techniques, such as shaving, plucking, waxing and depilatory creams provide only temporary hair loss. Until recently, the only recognized way to remove hair permanently had been by electrolysis-which is tedious, time-consuming and uncomfortable. The Syneron Comet safely removes unwanted body hair without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin. Facial and bikini areas are usually completed in less then ten minutes: legs, backs and larger areas can take longer.

How does it work?

The Syneron Comet laser, a revolutionary combination of Diode Laser and Radio Frequency, emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle leaving the surround skin unaffected. The skin is further protected by the unique and patented Chill Tip that cools the skin for increased comfort and protection.

How many treatments will I need?

Because hair grows in cycles, each individual will require a series of treatments. The number of treatments required depends upon your skin color, hair color and coarseness of your hair. Everyone will require at least 3 treatments because the process is only effective on hair during the growth phase. At Clinic Esthetica we recommend a series of 6 treatments to effectively remove at least 80% of the hair.
